Founded by two school friends with a shared passion for golf, Game of Life Sports Pvt. Ltd. exists to make golf a mainstream sport in India — on the course, on screen and in the community.
Game of Life Sports (GOLS) is India's premier Golf IP creation and sportainment company, founded by Amit Kharabanda and Samant Sikka — two school friends with a shared passion for golf and a combined six decades of entrepreneurial experience across fintech, financial services, electronics and textiles.
Built on the belief that golf can and should be mainstream in India, GOLS creates, owns and operates a portfolio of Golf IPs across professional, amateur, community and grassroots segments. Its flagship property, 72 The League, is India's first franchise-based professional golf league, sanctioned by the Professional Golf Tour of India (PGTI) and powered by IndusInd Bank. Featuring six city-based franchises, 60 professional golfers and a match-play team format, 72 The League is designed to do for golf what the IPL did for cricket.
Beyond the professional league, GOLS runs the Qutab Golf League — a month-long amateur golf circuit across Delhi, Gurugram and Noida — the Alma Mater Invitational, which unites alumni from Delhi's most prestigious schools on the fairway, and the Dipsite Golfing Fraternity, one of India's largest school alumni golf communities. Through its 72 The League Academy, GOLS also introduces golf to new audiences via premium HNI clinic experiences across multiple cities.
Backed by institutional support from PGTI, with Kapil Dev as PGTI President, Arjun Atwal as Brand Ambassador and Jay Shah having unveiled the 72 The League trophy, GOLS has established itself as the defining golf IP company in India — building an ecosystem that connects professional competition, amateur sport and grassroots participation under one roof.
As a Startup India registered company, GOLS is also building the technology layer for Indian golf: an AI platform that manages tournaments end to end and powers live streaming of the game, so every event we host is easier to run and easier for fans to follow.
